Health Coach, Culinary Nutrition Expert, and Professional Ballet Dancer.
I use my passion for connecting with people, experience in the dance world, and training in holistic health to help others find the best practices for their wellbeing!
We are all made differently and are not made to eat, dress, move, think, dance, sing, etc...the same way. We are complex beings and our wellness depends on more than one type of care to hold us up. Not only is eating well important for your health, but feeling well-fed in the rest of your life through your career, relationships, and connection to your soul through spirituality, are all a part of how you are able to express yourself.
A bit of my story...
I grew up in a household of two professional violinists (my awesome parents) and fell in love immediately with expressing myself through dance. Seeing from my parents that the professional art world was achievable, I went full-force towards my dreams and goals to pursue a career as a ballet dancer, and achieved them in ways I certainly did not see coming! I found myself leaving home my junior year of high school for North Carolina School of the Arts, becoming a trainee with Cincinnati Ballet, and going on to dance with Dutch National Ballet for 8 years.
Finding something I loved and that was fulfilling at such a young age was pure freedom for my soul and bought me abundant joy.
On the other side of this, not only have I experience wonderful expression with dance but I have also experienced self-doubt in the process. There is always a lot of feedback to absorb as a dancer and quite a bit in the form of making things physically aesthetic. I think I speak for a lot of dancers when I say that fitting the mold feels so important when really it is how we express ourselves truly and individually that always feels the best, and connects us to others and ourselves in a powerful way.
